York City Centre is 25 miles away and offers a unique shopping experience for all. If you are looking for a special gift idea, or simply want to spoil yourself, there is no better place for some retail therapy. Parliament, Coppergate and Coney Street are home to high street favourites, and if you are looking for more independent shops that are off the beaten track, wander along Gillygate and Petergate.
With over 80 stalls offering a diverse selection of goods, visit the famous Shambles Market, which is open daily. York Designer Outlet is 28.2 miles away and is home to lots of
designer and high street fashion at great prices. Monks Cross Retail Park and Vanguard Shopping Park are around 22 miles away and offer various retail stores and eateries for all.
More locally, you have towns and villages such as Helmsley, Malton and Pickering. All of which are renowned for their wide range of unique, interesting shops. You won’t find many high street chains in either location, but some beautiful independent businesses, including jewellery stores, book stores, gift shops and more.
