The delightful Shepherds hut is a perfect romantic getaway for those who want to enjoy this magnificent location with a glamping edge. The Star provides a double bed with wall mounted TV, kitchen with microwave and induction hob for cooking, and a nice little wine cooler for those who fancy a nice cool beverage.

We stayed at Yorkshire Spa Retreat for a family break and couldn’t have felt more welcome. Despite being a spa-focused retreat, our 3-year-old was wonderfully accommodated, even receiving his own dressing gown and slippers! The lodge was spotless, modern, and luxurious, with fantastic facilities including a hot tub and smoker BBQ.

We also enjoyed using the spa, which was the perfect place to relax and unwind after busy days exploring the local area. We used the retreat as a base to explore local attractions including Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, Scarborough, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, with beautiful Helmsley just minutes away. Thank you for helping us create such special family memories.

Hoseasons

Lovely resort, we struck lucky with the weather on our weekend and it was like being abroad. Lodge was lovely and clean and very modern, we opted for a pet lodge with having our dog, he was very catered for himself with his own enclosed field to run mad on. On site facilities were great, hired some ebikes for the day and explored the country side and local towns. All the staff seemed friendly and approachable. There are shops a couple miles out the resort incase you forget something. BBQ and outdoor facilities that came with our lodge were fab! We had a range of ages with us from 65+ down to 10 years old and everyone said the same thing, we didn’t want to go home at the end. Will be deffo booking again in the near future!

Spa Breaks

Everything about this Spa is perfect, staff are incredibly friendly. The entire place has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very chilled, we were lucky enough to visit on a sunny day so were able to make the most of the outdoor facilities. We stayed in the hideaway which is perfect size for two people, has everything you need and more. Food and cocktails are amazing from Dome restaurant and we finished off with a facial and massage before we left. Couldn’t recommend more, for a couples weekend away!

As always, I can’t rate Yorkshire Spa Retreat highly enough. The peaceful atmosphere, immaculate lodges, thoughtful touches, and consistently high standards keep me coming back time and time again. The team are always welcoming and genuinely want guests to have the most relaxing stay possible. The spa treatments are wonderful, the food from The Dome is delicious, and the dog wash is a fantastic addition after countryside walks. I love this place so much that I purchased a share in a lodge and can’t wait to return again and again. Thank you to the whole team!

Excellent 6 star. The Service and delicious food is always First class, we can’t improve it! Friendly staff are so polite and they are always kind and helpful. The way they have designed and furnished the Dome is perfect. Comfy seats you just was to sink into. It’s very well thought through – you leave the Spa (if you are lucky enough to use it) and don’t feel you are in a separate restaurant, it’s seamless – you feel very well looked after and relaxed. We love coming here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. If you need to discuss changes to either time, please contact info@yorkshire-spa-retreat.co.uk

Can I bring my dog to stay with me?

Absolutely. If your dog is well behaved, and fully toilet trained, they’re more than welcome to join us, but you must book a dog-friendly lodge. We do ask that you try and keep them off the furniture though, and we have a maximum allowance of two dogs per lodge.

Dogs are priced at £29 each.

Can my family access the swimming pool during our stay?

We have a natural swim pond as part of the spa, not a traditional swimming pool. Access is limited to over 16’s only, and any guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You do have to book in at an additional cost and can do this via reception 01439413102

Is Spa access included in my stay?

Our lodge holidays do not include spa access. This is priced at 50% of our day rate. In your booking confirmation, you’ll be given the link to book you spa access slot at a discounted rate as a lodge guest. You can also choose to add additional spa treatments to your booking for an additional fee.

Can you arrange some special touches on arrival for me?

Of course, we’d love to help make your stay even more special. A member of our team will be in touch with you prior to your stay and can confirm these details with you. But you’re also very welcome to email us at info@yorkshire-spa-retreat.co.uk to discuss some ideas.

Can I arrange for a grocery delivery to my lodge?

Absolutely. You can arrange for a grocery delivery to meet you at your lodge. Ahead of booking your grocery delivery, we do advise you to check your lodge number to enable the delivery driver to find your accommodation – you may check your lodge number calling reception on 01439 413102. Most major supermarkets, including Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco, will deliver groceries to the Yorkshire Spa Retreat. Please do ensure that you are on park to receive your delivery.
